Dear Titan Parents and Students – “MARCH MADNESS” Update #2

Additional Information and Support:

  1. Great Change in “Grab and Go” Meal Distribution
    We were granted the waiver from the state, which means we can now have breakfast and lunch picked up at the same time, beginning on Monday, March 23.  This will limit the number of trips families have to make to a school site for food pick up. Because of this change, all meals will be distributed from 8:30-11 AM. Another change is that schools will serve any student at any neighborhood school free of charge.  *Orem JH, Mountain View and Timpanogos will continue to serve anyone age 0-18 free of charge. 
  2. School/Office Hours
    Beginning next Monday, March 23, school office hours will be 8 AM – Noon. We will be staggering staff and having a limited number of staff in the building in order to comply with State Guidelines of groups fewer than 10 people.
  3. District Office Hours
    Because the District Office will also be following limited hours of 8 AM – Noon, please reach out to us by email, text or cell phone if you have any questions or concerns that arise. We will all be available to help anytime. Other district office staff will be available to answer emails during normal office hours.
  4. Chromebook Updates
    Because there is a continued problem with Chromebooks, District personnel are working with state officials to resolve things as soon as possible. Teachers are aware that students should not be expected to complete assignments this week since many are not yet able to access content.
